Discover the Venetian-Style Architecture and the charming river views of Portogruaro, the “Little Venice”, as Ippolito Nievo called it, by joining a guided walk together with a local expert guide.
Meet the guide at the Tourist Info Point and admire the emerald waters of Lemene River and the ancient Mills of Sant'Andrea, once driving force of the town economy, that offer today one of the most evocative views of this amazing town. Gaze up at the characteristic, third most leaning bell tower in Italy and at the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea, with its beautiful frescoes. As you stroll, your nice local guide will tell you about interesting anecdotes of the city’s past and about the people who have lived there. The tour will end at the Tourist Info Point in the splendid Piazza della Repubblica, where you can get more insights, as well as buy original gadgets and souvenirs. You can choose the option "with aperitif" to enjoy also a Venetian Aperitif in relax on your own at the end of the tour.

Portogruaro is easily and quickly accessible from the nearby seaside resorts of Caorle and Bibione via the ATVO bus lines 2 and 7, respectively

Portogruaro can be easily reached also from Lido di Jesolo by car or bus (atvo line 19 + Line 8) and from Venice by train (Trenitalia Line Venezia – Trieste)

The meeting point is just 10 minutes pleasant walk from the train and bus station. If you come by car you can easily park at the entrance of the “Parco della Pace”, and then walk through the park to the meeting point

The tour is available from Thursday to Sunday at 10:30 am. Only on Saturdays it is available at 4:30 pm too
